Student Transportation Scholarships are merit-based and designed to support and encourage students interested in pursuing a career in the transportation industry, or pursuing graduate study in a related field. Both undergraduates and graduate students are eligible and must be nominated by a faculty member. Recipients will be selected by a panel of the CTEDD Advisory Board and faculty. Students must be currently enrolled at one of CTEDD's consortium universities: The University of Texas at Arlington, Georgia Tech, the University of South Florida, the University of Wisconsin at Madison, or California Polytechnic State University. All students are encouraged to apply, but priority will be given to undergraduates.
Eligibility: Transportation-related study or extracurricular experience, interested in pursuing a transportation career. Students must be at a CTEDD-consortium member (University of Texas at Arlington, Georgia Tech, University of South Florida, University of Wisconsin at Madison, California Polytechnic State University). Applicants must be US citizens or permanent residents.
Prizes: At least $800 to each recipient.
Due Date: May 29, 2020
Selection committee members are not obligated to select anyone, if they determine none of the applicants to be sufficiently outstanding.
The winners will have their names placed on a plaque that will be displayed at CTEDD's offices at UT-Arlington.
