About Us

The Center for Transportation, Equity, Decisions and Dollars (CTEDD) is a USDOT (Tier-1) University Transportation Center funded through the Office of the Assistant Secretary for Research and Technology.
CTEDD will provide the regions of consortium members and beyond with extensive research, educational, outreach and leadership programs and resources to fulfill the demand for the updated knowledge and improving the decision making for the transportation systems via identifying the cost-effective solutions for maintenances and the strategic guidelines for improving the equal transportation services. These guidelines address how to develop an equal and inclusive access for all community members to use the transportation systems and thus lead to the most inclusive and equal access to opportunities. CTEDD has the mission of reaching such goals and envisioned the routes for achieving them available below.
CTEDD is a University of Texas at Arlington-led partnership with the California Polytechnic State University, Georgia Institute of Technology, University of Wisconsin-Madison and University of South Florida.

Mission and Vision

MISSION: The Center for Transportation Equity, Decisions and Dollars (C-TEDD) is a consortium of five universities leading transportation policy research that improves economic development through more efficient, cost-effective use of the existing transportation system, and offers better access to jobs and opportunities. C-TEDD will address these needs through innovative use of cutting edge technology, and policies that harness private resources for public infrastructure. C-TEDD and its consortium members aim to serve their fast-growing regions and the nation as a whole through various programs that expand economic prosperity, provide outreach to policymakers, address infrastructure needs through innovative methods, and educate future leaders of the transportation field.

VISION: C-TEDD will be a leader in transitioning our antiquated transportation system towards the future through innovative policy making and the latest technology.

Focus Areas

CTEDD aims to broaden its impact through establishing a strong university-entity-industry-community partnership.
This partnership includes partners from the organizations and communities with local, regional, and national impacts in our transportation planning efforts and policy developments. CTEDD advisory board and executive committee members represent these goals with the consistent involvement in program developments. More partnership opportunities are under development through forthcoming programs and if you are within the public, private, and institutional sectors, including universities, utilities, governments, businesses, nonprofit organizations, other university transportation centers, or citizen communities, and are interested in being involved in MAKING AN IMPACT, please join the CTEDD partnership program to help extend our impacts to every region.
