Brian Guenzel serves as Program Manager of CTEDD, overseeing much of the Center’s day-to-day operations. These duties include managing financial records and project budgets, overseeing the grant process from start to finish, organizing the Center’s calendar of events, communicating with project team leaders, ensuring compliance with UT System, state, and federal regulations, and supporting the development of the Center’s many student researchers.
His background includes having worked as a researcher in public health, a city planner, a land use and economic development consultant, and served as a Director of the Institute of Urban Studies at UTA. He also on occasion serves as an adjunct faculty member. Before returning to UTA he was working as the Planning & Zoning Manager for the City of Red Oak.
